Metro contract awards...

Tates Travel in partnership with West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (Metro) are pleased to announce the introduction of several newly awarded contracts across West Yorkshire, effective from April 30, 2012. Some of these contracts open up new bus links to areas such as Pontefract, South Elmsall, Hemsworth & Crofton.

A network recast will be taking place from April 30 around the Wakefield area.

A full list of services that are to be introduced from April 30, 2012 are:

157 Wakefield to Pontefract.
194/195 Wakefield to Barnsley or Hemsworth.
443 Wakefield to Hall Green.
485 Wakefield to South Elmsall.

Please be aware that the services listed above are only a brief guide to the new Metro contracts that have been awarded, and full details and schedules will be published shortly for these services, and other services that are changing from April 30, 2012.
