Welcome to Tates Travel Group, the largest independent bus and coach operator in the Barnsley and wider South Yorkshire area. We currently operate a number of bus services centered on the Barnsley & Rotherham areas, with services radiating out to Meadowhall and Wakefield also.

We currently operate a fleet of over 50 vehicles across the Yorkshire area. We operate a wide range of vehicles, with most vehicles meeting DDA compliance, 5 years ahead of schedule. Most of our services are now operated by low floor easy access vehicles, making your journey with Tates Travel Group even more accessible and convenient.

We operate School contracts on behalf of SYPTE and commercial School contracts. For further information regarding our School contracts and the routes that we operate, please refer to the 'Schools' section of this website.
